De dunkla städerna (Swedish translations)

The stories by François Schuiten and Benoît Peeters are not published in albums in Sweden, but there are Swedish comic magazines that have published complete stories. There is no official Swedish translation of Les Cités Obscures but the most straight-forward translation would be “De dunkla städerna”.

  • Murarna i Samaris a Swedish translation of Les Murailles de Samaris was published in “Comet” 1985/2
  • Det stora gallret a Swedish translation of La Fièvre d'Urbicande was published in the magazine Epix as a serial in five numbers: 9/1988, 10/1988, 11/1988, 12/1988 and 1/1989. The total amount of story pages is 68.
  • Olivia, a 13 pages Swedish translation of the prologue of “Zara”. Published in “Tung Metall” 1986/10
  • Den ihåliga planeten, a Swedish translation of Zara. Published in 4 instalments in “Tung Metall” 1987/2 to 5
