François Schuiten and Benoît Peeters are, each in their own way, “children of Brussels”. Brüsel, the fifth volume of their mythical Obscure Cities, is the major proof this, but not the only one!
With the superb book Bruxelles – Un rêve capital (Ed. Casterman), the duo offers a personal look at the history of this « special » city, not forgetting the places and personalities who have built its hidden soul. On this occasion, many rare images by Schuiten, accompanied by unpublished texts by Peeters, have finally been brought together.
Galerie Champaka, nestled in the Sablon district, one of the gems of Brussels, has the immense honour of presenting 34 of these graphic wonders! Not to mention two artistic prints numbered and signed by the artist. An exceptional – and rare – opportunity to dive into the magical universe of François Schuiten.
