Pont de Sèvres

Pont de Sèvres is a metro station that is part of the future Grand Paris Express networkin Paris.The station will have frescoes on the platforms to illustrate the Ile-de-France territories served by the new metro.In 2023 it was announced that Francois Schuiten will design the Pont de Sèvres station. He is one of the 30 artists announced ¹⁾.

Here is what Pierre-Emmanuel Becherand, head of culture, Société du Grand Paris, says: “This order, which brings together the great names of comics and the best of young creation, testifies to the cultural ambition carried by the Société du Grand Paris for stations. Thanks to these future frescoes, it is a question of illustrating the territories served but also of stimulating reflection and questioning the transformation of Greater Paris” ²⁾.
