Solvay, Ernest
Ernest Solvay is a Belgian industrial and philanthropist, born in Rebecq (Brabant) (1838-1922 AD), founder or endower of various scientific societies and inventor of the ammoniac sodium carbonate fabrication process. He commissioned several interesting building from architect Victor Horta.
