La révolution des images (1830-1914) (The Image Revolution (1830-1914)) is a series of eight lectures by Benoît Peeters, held in Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris, during 2016/2017.
Peeters will discuss the development of caricature and illustrated book, the birth of comics, photography and film; He also will talk about passeurs like Balzac, Grandville, Töpffer, Daguerre, Nadar, Marey, Muybridge, Lumière, Méliès, McCay and others.
