København

København is the Obscure City closest to the Polar Circle, but enjoying a micro-climate that allows it to remain inhabitable. It is commonly called the City of A Thousand Towers and, in Friedrich's mind's eye, they are indeed numerous, incredibly tall, and all different from each other ¹⁾.
