Inventor

Inventor is an anonymous character, whose portrait was found in the Augustin Desombres estate. It is not specified if it was painted by that artist, but it does not appear to be done in his usual style. He may possibly be the conceptor of the Graphophone ¹⁾.

It is remarkable that the authors of the catalog for the Desombres auction, who were from our own world, never did notice his ressemblance with Ernest Solvay.
