Although Schuiten and Peeters didn't want to follow the technical hype, they wanted to add a lot of interactivity to the urbicande.be website. According to them the nature of the internet is the interactivity compared to the more static status of the book.
The ubicande.be team made many animations in Flash, a technology that is fading away. We have converted the flash animations in short movies.

Already in an early stage urbicande.be has added sound to the website.
The later versions of the urbicande.be website added way to look around in the workspace of François Schuiten. First two images of the attic and secondly two images of the basement. In the original form you could scroll the images sideways.
After experimenting with real world images the L'Ombre du Reseau CD added some imaginary worlds to walk around.
