Tiffany, Louis Comfort

Louis Comfort Tiffany was born in New York in 1848. He developed an incredible talent for working with glass and in particular developed his famous Tiffany methods, which gave his name to a style still known today.

It is then in the current of the art nouveau that he gave birth to the Tiffany lamps with a pronounced taste for the floral reasons. The man received numerous awards for his magnificent handcrafted creations, and gradually his name became part of the decorative arts forever.

His work can also found in Urbicande 1).
