+**Samarobrive** is an Obscure City in the Central southern portion of the [[Continent]], bordering the [[Sea of Farewells]]. Controls the [[Quadra Nova]] territory ((Read: [[en:albums:Le Guide des Cités]])). It has a number of points in common with the French city of [[Amiens]], and almost even took that name. This is interesting, because Amiens was the last residence of Jules Verne, and the famous author is known to have visited the Obscure Cities extensively.

It is reported that Captain [[Nemo]] visited the place, but it may have been in fact [[Verne, Jules|Jules Verne]].
