Nierendorf, Karl

Karl Nierendorf is the owner of an art gallery who, in 1925 AD, was the first to display Karl Blossfeldt's photographs as art pieces in their own right.

Art and nature, the two great phenomena of our environment, are so closely related that the one is inconceivable without the other, and it will never be possible to force them into the formula of a definition. Karl Nierendorf, 1928
