Fauna

Taken as a whole the faune of the Obscure World appears to be less diverse than that of the Lighted World. This is due in part to the fact that animal husbandry is almost unknown on the Continent, where vegetarians dominate. It should be noted that vast areas outside the cities remain unexplored, and the existence of several of the species listed below may be rather dubious ¹⁾.
