ESA’s Cheops

ESA’s Cheops is a satellite (CHaracterising ExOPlanet Satellite) used to see transitions of two exoplanets orbiting the nearby star Nu2 Lupi, located 48 light years away in the southern constellation Wolf (Lupus). In July 2021 they found out there was a third planet 1).
