The Cocoon Wagon system doesn't always work as designed. Several incidents are known. The most famous one is the trip of Arnold and Gilda Thornill. They wanted to travel to Château de Troussalay but ended up in the cold Trou Salé. According to the builder of the Cocoon Wagon, Etienne Parizet, it was a human error and not related to the design of the car 2).
