Schuiten visits Belgium King

On June 15, 2017 the king and queen of Belgium invited 10 personalities of the cultural world for a working lunch. François Schuiten was one of the invitees.

The meeting had as a theme Belgian cultural actors abroad. The lunch took place in the Laken Castle. Besides François Schuiten the following people attended the lunch: Laurent Busine, Honorary Director of MACs; Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Director of the Royal Ballet of Flanders; Chris Dercon, Intendant of the Volksbühne Berlin; Ann Veronica Janssens, artist; Jan Raes, Director of the Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam; Serge Rangoni, Director of the Théâtre de Liège; Jaco Van Dormael, cineast; Ivo Van Hove, Director of the Amsterdam Toneelgroep; David Van Reybrouck, writer ¹⁾.
